FRANK CHRISTIAN WAGNER

“A Father's Job” is Frank's directional narrative short film debut.

Frank founded his production company ECHOFABRIK in 2010 after graduation in Media Management and mainly directed and produced industrial product movies in the beginning.

He got first publicly noticed with his nomination for the DEUTSCHE WIRTSCHAFTSFILMPREIS for his production of “MOODFILM | BOLSHOI” in 2013, hosted by the federal ministry for economics and energy. In 2019 he reached the 2nd place as a producer for his production of “TEASER | ACTICE SHUTTLE”.

Frank was affected by a case of suicide in his family as a six year old.

This project was realised without any funding.

JENS SCHAFFNER

Jens is a worldwide acting cinematographer for commercials, music videos and narrative works.

Before “A Father's Job” he was successfully involved as a DOP in the multiple award-winning german short film “Sea at night”.

Jens and Frank working together in close cooperation for more than 12 years.

ROBIN HOFFMANN

composer

Robin Hoffmann is a composer, orchestrator and arranger. He holds a degree in composition and piano from the Dresden University of Music. For more than 15 years, Robin has been working on several international film productions, most notably SAVE ANGEL HOPE and A WAR WITHIN. He has been awarded the prize for Best Score (Short) by the Marina Del Rey Film Festival and Scruffy City Film & Music Festival for his score for HERO in 2017.

Robin has worked and recorded with several renowned European Orchestras such as the LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, RUNDFUNK-SINFONIEORCHESTER BERLIN, BASEL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, CITY OF PRAGUE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA and 21st CENTURY ORCHESTRA. Besides his work for the screen, he regularly writes concert music. His Violin Concerto has been recorded in the prestiguous Abbey Road Studios in London.

Robin also works as an arranger for a wide variety of projects. He has arranged two hit shows for the FRIEDRICHSTADT-PALAST Berlin and arranged music for international artists such as Sarah Connor, Alex Christensen and Matthias Schweighöfer.
